Project Focus Syracuse City Hall
This gorgeous building was completed in 1892 after 3 years of construction. Some believe the inspiration for this building was Albany's City Hall, designed by Henry Richardson and completed just a few years earlier. The building underwent a major renovation in 1977. The latest renovation in 2005 replaced one of the existing chillers and condensing towers, replaced an AHU serving the council chambers and also included the retrofit of the entire controls system.
The control system retrofit included new Delta BACnet controllers to replace an existing Andover system. we were able to reuse the existing panels, wiring, temperature sensors, pneumatic damper and valve actuators and all of the peripheral devices such as low limits and pressure sensors. The new Delta system resides on the city's Ethernet network. This allows personnel to access all the Delta sites from anywhere on the city's network.
